Audience:

Special Education Teachers, General and Special Education Administrators, and Reading Interventionists/Literacy Specialists

Description:

This course explores a range of low-tech to high-tech assistive technology (AT) that can support students' access to general education curricular content. In addition, a Connecticut Director of Special Education will discuss their district-level strategy for building capacity to meet the needs of secondary students with SLD/Dyslexia. The course also covers the structures of secondary education, including staffing and scheduling solutions unique to middle and high school programs.
